About Farley Pet Care
Farley Pet Care was founded in 2017 by Erica McChesney, a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2004. After years of hands-on work in the veterinary field, Erica moved into the business side of the industry and quickly realized what she missed most: the animals, the hands-on care, the connection, and the opportunity to support pets and the families who love them.
What began as Erica’s return to hands-on animal care has grown into a trusted St. Petersburg pet care company, backed by more than 80 five-star Google reviews and nearly a decade of dedicated service. Today, our pet sitting is focused on cats, small animals, and exotics. Across our services, we also have specialized experience caring for senior and medically complex pets, including dogs.
Erica is Fear Free Certified, a Certified Professional Pet Sitter, and a Certified Pet Loss Specialist. These credentials reflect her commitment to thoughtful, informed care at every stage of a pet’s life.
