About the Position
We are currently hiring a part-time pet sitter to join the Farley Pet Care team.
This role focuses on in-home pet sitting visits, with the potential to grow into midday dog walks as our client base continues to expand.
This is a professional position within an established, credentialed pet care company — where expectations are high, communication is a priority, and every pet is treated with the same level of attention and expertise our clients have come to count on for nearly a decade.

Why You Might Not Like This Job
We believe in honesty — with our clients and with our team. Here's what you should know before applying:
- Hours are not guaranteed and vary week to week. This role is designed to be supplemental income alongside another source — not a primary job
- Hours start part-time (0–15/week) and grow as our client base expands
- You will drive your own vehicle to each client's home for every visit
- We are in Florida — heat and afternoon thunderstorms are part of the job, and visits happen in all weather

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Smartphone with ability to use apps — we use Time To Pet for scheduling and visit reporting
- Should have another source of income, as hours are not guaranteed
- Reliable, detail-oriented, punctual, and a clear communicator
- Genuine love for animals — especially those requiring extra patience or specialized care
- Veterinary or professional animal care experience is a strong plus, but not required
- Must be available to commit to the role for a minimum of one year
